A host of famous faces were among the guests attending The Christie charity’s annual ball which raised over £100,000 to help cancer patients.
The glamorous event which took place on Saturday 13th October at Lancashire County Cricket Club featured show-stopping performances from Marcus Collins, runner up on ‘The X Factor’ last year and Jaz Ellington who reached the semi finals of the BBC’s new talent show The Voice.
Other entertainment included spectacular aerial artists who served champagne to guests – who included Coronation Street stars Katy Cavanagh (Julie) and Ian Puleston-Davies (Owen), resident doctor of ITV’s This Morning Dr Chris Steele and former patient and Premiership referee Mark Halsey.
Ex-rugby league player and Christie patient Steve Prescott also attended.
The ball was raising money for a new haematology and transplant unit (HTU) at The Christie, a specialist cancer centre in Manchester.
Bellagio Global enabled the charity to raise £2500 on the night, by donating one of our Limited Edition Timepieces.
“Every penny will go towards our new HTU which will enhance the outcomes and experience for hundreds of patients diagnosed with leukaemia and lymphoma each year”.
