It was 50’s rock n’roll from the start til the end of the eve, everyone in attendance made an effort for simon and emma gregson 1st charity ball. Bellagio Global donated a bundle of goodies which were included in the raffle.
Corrie is the word! Catherine Tyldesley embraces 50s style in a fun and flirty polka dot frock… as Samia Ghadie ignores the dress code at Grease-themed ball
They were turning out in style to support their Coronation Street co-star Simon Gregson as he hosted a Grease-themed charity ball.
But Catherine Tyldesley and Samia Ghadie opted for very different approaches to their party looks as they posed up a storm at Manchester’s Palace Hotel on Sunday night.
Catherine threw herself into the spirit of the occasion, embracing 50s style in a bright red halterneck polka dot dress.
Showing off her incredible hourglass curves in all their glory, the 29-year-old star’s choice of fun and flirty frock featured a dramatic full skirt and a nipped in waist which accentuated her teeny-tiny middle
Not leaving any stone unturned when it came to her outfit choice, the actress teamed her funky dress with a pair of bright white stilettos, matching clutch bag and a white belt to show off her enviably slim waist even further. Catherine – who plays Eva Price in the ITV1 soap – completed her party look with her blonde locks teased into retro-style curls, a slick of dramatic red lipstick and even a beauty spot.
But Samia didn’t seem to follow her co-star’s lead when it came to her outfit choice, shunning the 50s theme in favour of a simple LBD. Although she looked effortlessly elegant in her plunging Vivienne Westwood midi-dress, the 30-eyar-old actress didn’t really fit in with the spirit of the occasion.
Samia completed her look with towering black peep-toe heels and a matching clutch bag, while making sure to show off her recent £4,000 boob job with plenty of cleavage on show.
Speaking about her decision to boost her bust from an A cup to a C cup, the mother-of-one recently told OK! magazine: ‘After Freya was born my boobs disappeared. Anybody who knows me will know that it’s something I talked about having done. I wanted to feel womanly again.’
‘Just the thought of putting a bikini on on holiday was making me feel a little depressed before, so I made up my mind to do it.’
Simon Gregson – who plays Steve McDonald in Corrie – was hosting the bash, and appeared to have dressed as Grease leading man Danny Zuko as he posed up a storm in a leather jacket, jeans and dramatic black wig, while cuddling up to his female companion who was dressed as Sandy.
Hayley Tamaddon chose a pretty powder blue 50s-inspired prom dress as she posed alongside Samia, while John Thompson rocked a bright red jacket and bowling shoes.
Former Corrie stars Sally Lindsay and Chris Bisson were also among those in attendance at the star-studded bash on Saturday night.
